Our pharmacist can assess and treat a range of conditions in a private consulting room, usually the same day you walk in. No GP appointment, no referral, no waiting room.
Consultations are currently funded under Chemist Care Now, a Victorian Government Program, so there is nothing to pay for your time with us.

Shingles | Assessment and antiviral treatment for the painful, blistering rash that appears in a band on one side of the body. | Adults 18 and over with a new painful, blistering rash, or tingling and burning on the skin. Come in within the first few days. |
Mild acne | Assessment and treatment for mild acne, including what to use, how long it takes to work, and what to stop doing. | Blackheads, whiteheads or pimples that aren't improving with what you're using now. |
Dermatitis flare-ups | Treatment for an acute flare of mild to moderate dermatitis — the itching, redness and broken skin that comes and goes. | A flare of mild to moderate eczema. We can supply steroid creams and ointments to settle it. |
School sores (impetigo) | Assessment and treatment for impetigo — the crusted, spreading sores that turn up most often on children's faces and hands. | Red or crusted sores on the face or body. |

Diabetes consultations | Longer appointments with an approved diabetes educator, covering monitoring, medication and the day-to-day of living with it. | Adults with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes, and anyone recently diagnosed or told they're pre-diabetic. Useful whether you're newly diagnosed and unsure where to start, or have had it for years and something has changed. |
Acute muscle and joint pain | Assessment and management of recent, mild musculoskeletal pain — a strained back, a sore shoulder, a twisted ankle. | Recent mild injury needing advice and treatment. Not for pain following a significant fall. |

You don't need a prescription; you don't need a Medicare card, though bring it if you have one; and GP follow-up is always recommended afterwards.
What it's actually like
A private room, not the counter. 15 to 30 minutes. The pharmacist asks about your symptoms and history, examines where relevant, then either treats you, refers you, or tells you it will settle on its own. With your consent, notes go to your GP so your record stays complete.
